Endocrine and blood sugar disorders encompass a broad category of conditions involving metabolic and hormonal dysregulation. In primary care, the most commonly encountered include hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism, type 2 diabetes mellitus, and prediabetes.
We use targeted laboratory evaluation — including comprehensive metabolic and endocrine panels — to diagnose, monitor, and manage these conditions. Treatment is individualized based on disease severity, comorbidities, and patient goals.
Diagnosis and management of hypothyroidism and hyperthyroidism, including targeted thyroid hormone therapy, monitoring of thyroid hormone levels, and evaluation of thyroid nodules when indicated.
Glycemic treatment goals, oral and injectable hypoglycemic medications, and insulin therapy when indicated. Screening for microvascular and macrovascular complications.
Early identification through metabolic laboratory assessments. Lifestyle modification as first-line therapy with pharmacotherapy consideration for high-risk patients.
Adrenal function testing and clinical assessment of adrenal insufficiency or excess when symptoms warrant investigation.
