CADENCE CLINIC
Clinical Specialty

Anxiety & Depression

Program Overview

Anxiety and depressive disorders are among the most prevalent conditions encountered in primary care. We evaluate patients through structured clinical assessments, screening instruments (PHQ-9, GAD-7), and a thorough review of medical and social history to differentiate primary psychiatric conditions from secondary causes such as thyroid dysfunction, medication side effects, or substance use.

Treatment plans are developed collaboratively with the patient and may include pharmacotherapy, behavioral interventions, and appropriate referrals.

Clinical Assessment

Standardized screening tools and structured clinical interviews to establish diagnosis, assess severity, and identify comorbid conditions.

Medication Management

Initiation and titration of appropriate medications with monitoring for therapeutic response, side effects, and drug interactions.

Behavioral & Lifestyle Strategies

Sleep hygiene, exercise prescription, and stress reduction techniques as adjuncts to pharmacotherapy.

Coordination of Care

Referral to psychiatry or psychology when indicated, with ongoing communication to ensure continuity.
